The immense love and purity of animals’ hearts often exceed that of humans. Although they do not have the same level of consciousness as us, they are certainly more compassionate and ready to help another being in need regardless of their “skin color.”
Dogs are definitely the best examples of that and they show it every day with their limitless love and loyalty toward humans. However, what makes them special is the fact that their love is not only limited to humans but to other beings as well.
This was best seen in the behavior of one dog who felt that something was wrong in his owners’ car, which was parked near their house in Alabama one morning.
It would quickly become clear that a helpless being needed immediate help and that only this dog felt it.
Whining For The Little One
Early in the morning, around 6 a.m., the owners from Alabama heard whining of their puppy coming from the driveway where their car was parked. When they came to that place, the dog was still crying and pointing to the vehicle.

In the TikTok video posted by one of the dog’s owners, Savannah Piccini, under the nickname @coastal.cowgirl, she wrote that they looked everywhere but didn’t see anything. Then, they decided to try another method.
“He wouldn’t stop whining so we decided to spray it with a hose,” she wrote.
After that, something happened that this dog had been waiting for all morning, which shocked his owners at the same time.
“This little thing ran out,” Savannah wrote in the video, alluding to the tiny black kitten that was stuck inside all that time before they saved her.
Savannah was truly glad that the kitten was safe now and very grateful to her pup. But, at the same time, she couldn’t believe this was happening because believe it or not, this kitten was the third baby animal she had found in 35 days.
“It felt like someone was playing a joke on me, and me and my husband could not quit laughing in disbelief,” Savannah said in an interview for Newsweek. “I have been joking that every time I step outside somehow I find more animals to rescue. I secretly love it.”
Her dog loved it, too, and finally, his cry turned into a big smile and unstoppable tail wagging when he saw that the kitten was safe and sound.
Happiest Ending
The video posted by Savannah did not go unnoticed on TikTok. On the contrary, it caused numerous reactions and they were predominantly positive.
“Smart doggie… thank you for saving the baby,” one user wrote.
“The cat distribution system is working as designed !” another added.
And the third quipped: “Black cats are the best too!! Sweetest, most mellow… 🖤”
However, although he did not comment, Cody, a user who had been following Savannah for a long time, did the greatest deed. He contacted her via private message and expressed his desire to adopt the kitten.
They arranged everything very quickly, and Savannah was grateful to this man because he gave a forever home to the cute tiny creature.
In the end, the kitten met her happiest ending, thanks to good people who took care of her and gave her a forever home.
However, we should not forget that it was the dog that started everything and that without his cries from the heart, this cat might never have seen the light of day again.
